About Us:
Lights Out And Dance was born from a passion for unrestrained, carefree dancing. It’s a sanctuary where you can relive the excitement of dancing the night away with friends in our younger years, minus the routines and inhibitions. Perfect for those seeking adult dancing fun or free movement dance classes for adults on the Gold Coast, and beyond 🌏
What to Expect:
✅ Singing, Dancing, Cheering, and Fun!
❌ No Lights, Talking, Phones, or Inhibitions! (And no glass bottles, please.)
Tips for an Epic Experience:
- Bookings: Secure your spot in advance; no door sales. Bookings are open until the lights go out.
- Arrival: Be on time! Doors lock at 7:10 pm sharp.
- Warm Up/Down: Enjoy free movement; warm up and cool down at your own pace.
- Music: Expect fast, fun playlists featuring everything from ’80s classics to the latest hits.
- Song Requests: Drop your requests in our Lights Out Songbox on Spotify.
- Singing & Dancing: Let loose, sing your heart out, and dance like no one’s watching.
- Clapping & Cheering: Spread positive vibes with claps and cheers.
- No Talking, Just Dancing: Lights Out is your precious “me-time” to lose yourself in the music.
- Darkness: Embrace the dark for a fully immersive experience; your night vision will adjust.
- No Phones & Fitness Trackers: Keep them away to maintain the dark and immersive atmosphere or book a sweat band to keep them covered when you book your ticket.
What to Bring:
Your dancing spirit and at least 1-2 litres of water.
What to Wear:
Dress to sweat – activewear is recommended. Leave the jeans and high heels at home.
Can Kids Attend?
While our sessions are kid-friendly, the dark and loud environment may not suit those under 12.
