Lights Out And Dance is proud to present to the Gold Coast, the global phenomenon that is
The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever
Hello Kates & Cathys!
Pencil in Sunday, 21st July 2024 to your calendars for our next Wuther. Â We’ll finalise the date as soon as we’ve secured our spot at HOTA, in early 2024.
The MWHDE is a cheerful morning of dancing fun for everyone. This is a morning for connection, community and coming together with friends and strangers to take part in a truly unique and fun global movement while raising funds to support a local charity supporting victims of domestic violence. We think donning red dresses and recreating this iconic dance has its own unique spiritual, healing, and magical elements!
Presented by Lights Out And Dance, we are incredibly proud to once again be supporting local Gold Coast charity, Friends with Dignity.
Friends with Dignity work to ease the impact of Domestic Violence on Individuals and the Community regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or sexuality.
A collaborative national Not For Profit focused on improving the quality of life of any Adult and Child impacted by Domestic Violence through the provision of financial and tangible resources, programs and scholarships and enhancing the personal safety of individuals.
TMWHDE Gold Coast acknowledges British theatrical group Shambush, the creators of the theatrical concept The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience and Samantha Wareing who, with permission from Shambush created The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever.
Since 2016, more than 10,000 ‘Cathys’ across more than 70 cities worldwide have participated in mass Wuthering’s, which has seen events hosting more than 2000 people at any given time!
