Lights Out Under the Stars brings together the magic of our regular Dancing in the Dark sessions and the excitement of our signature Silent Disco Under the Stars events, creating a unique opportunity to spend an hour dancing outdoors mid-week beneath the night sky, surrounded by nature and the beautiful Gold Coast landscape.

Set amongst the ancient Moreton Bay fig trees along the Nerang River at HOTA, these special one-hour silent disco events strip everything back to what Lights Out is all about: great music, dancing in the dark and giving yourself permission to forget about everything else for a little while.

With your wireless headphones on, there’s no DJ or stage to watch and no complicated production to distract you. Just you, the music, the night sky and a bunch of other people who have decided that dancing is a pretty good way to spend an hour just having fun.

We carefully curate three playlists for each event, giving you a choice of music to dance to throughout the night. Whether you’re there to dance like nobody’s watching, sing at the top of your lungs or simply escape the everyday for an hour, Lights Out Under the Stars is your chance to press pause, step outside and just dance.

Because sometimes you don’t need a big night out. You just need an hour under the stars.
