One of the things we’re most proud of is making sure our Wuther is inclusive and welcoming for ALL – including our deaf and hard of hearing community.
For the fourth year, we’re thrilled to welcome back the incredible Julieta from Anytime Auslan, who will join our Wuther Mother Nadia on stage to interpret the entire event in Auslan. Whether you’re signing, singing, or swinging your arms like Heathcliff, everyone belongs in this red sea of movement and magic! 👋🏻❤️

In just two weeks, you’ll be checking in, getting your wristband, and preparing to take part in the magic that is The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever, Gold Coast—a sea of red on the wily, windy moors of The Great Lawn, Broadwater Parklands! 💃🏼
Before we dive into the excitement, a quick heads-up:

💔 WHY OUR WUTHER IS SO IMPORTANT
Since our last email, we’ve seen two devastating domestic violence incidents here on the Gold Coast:
- The tragic death of a young mum in Biggera Waters.
- A woman who broke her back leaping from her burning home in Hope Island, and whose beloved father tragically died as a result of the fire.
These events have weighed heavily on all of us, especially Manuela and her team at Friends With Dignity, who are facing a significant rise in demand for their services. I shared a post on Instagram on Friday with Manuela’s words – you can read them here.
As an organisation that relies wholly on donations and community support – with almost no government funding – our event is critical. It helps raise the funds needed to continue supporting survivors of domestic violence and ensures their services reach those who need them most.

In 2025, we saw almost 300 Kates join us—our biggest turnout yet! With the goal of raising funds for Friends With Dignity, who are facing unprecedented demand, we need your help to get as many of your friends, family, and colleagues to join us on the day!

We’re officially one week out from The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever, Gold Coast—this time next week, we’ll be performing the Grand Finale of Wuthering Heights! 🎶✨
Before then, here are answers to some of your most frequently asked questions (which you can also find on the FAQs page of our website!):
📱 TICKETS & CHECK-IN
Do I need to print my ticket? What if I can’t find it in the morning?
Nope! No need to print—and don’t stress if you can’t find it! Our fabulous check-in crew uses our ticketing app with everyone’s name on it, so you’re covered.
🔥 Hot Tip: Find your booking confirmation now (the one with the QR code at the top), screenshot the QR code, and save it to your Favourites. This will make your check-in quick and seamless – and help our team check in hundreds of Kates smoothly and efficiently!
👨👩👧👦 SPECTATORS & SUPPORT CREW
Can I bring friends or family to watch? Absolutely! The more spectators, the better! We love when people stop and watch – that’s how many of our current Kates discovered the event!
So yes, invite your crew to come and cheer you on in all your twirling glory. Better yet – try to recruit them! Just remember: anyone stepping onto the green to join the dance requires a ticket and wristband. And our eagle-eyed volunteers will be on it faster than Cathy begging Heathcliff to let her in the window because she’s sooooo cold! ❄️
👕 MERCH COLLECTION
Where do I collect my merch?
Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered merch! You’ll be able to collect your goodies from the Wuther Tent after you check in. Just swing by, and we’ll have your items ready and waiting with your name on them. Easy peasy!

We have three workshops to take everyone through the dance, followed by three full Grand Finale run-throughs to:

The dance starts in a kneeling position, so if you have dodgy knees (like me!), modify the movements to stay comfortable. Save your best moves for the Grand Finale!

Our wonderful photographer (Candice from Gold Coast Portrait Studio) and videographer Jeff (Nadia’s hubby!) will be capturing the magic all day.
Smile big when you see them!
No other cameras or videos are allowed on the green or side of stage – only our official team has access.

At the end of the day, we’ll take group photos:
One on the grass (from the stage)
A few on the public jetty (let’s try something new!)
A fun run toward the stage (if you’re up for it! If not, feel free to walk or sit it out – no pressure!)

We’re not speaking of the dreaded R word – but we’re confident it’ll be sunny and windy! Layer up – you’ll dance up a sweat, but the breeze might keep things cool.

Bring water to stay hydrated.
Bring a camping chair for breaks.
Bags & chairs must be left at the edges of the green (not in the dancing space). We recommend leaving bags in your car or locking them in the green room. We are not responsible for belongings.
There is also a cafe (The Fish Shak) right at the green for coffee and snacks!
